The AC Warning Function operates consistently across all Scan modes. Whenever live AC voltage is detected, the AC warning indicator will promptly display on the screen. Exercise utmost caution under such circumstances or whenever live AC wiring is present.

To use the device, first place it on the surface of the wall. Press the Power Button to turn it on. Hold the Scan Button for 2-3 seconds to calibrate. The calibration is complete when the bars decrease, and a buzzer beeps once. Note that in Stud mode, keep the device flat against the wall to calibrate, while in Metal/AC mode, hold it in the air for calibration.

Next, slowly move the device while ensuring it remains flat against the wall. Avoid shaking or lifting it during operation. Once the signal bar reaches its maximum and the beep alarm is at its loudest, it indicates that you have located the center of an object. Mark this spot with your pencil. Then, select the Metal Scan function to determine if the object is metallic. If it is not metallic, you have successfully identified the center of a stud.
